My third tip for getting your offer accepted has to do with the possession and closing date. This can make or break an offer. I’ve seen people take lower offers because they liked the terms of the closing or possession date much better.

It helps us strengthen our offers and actually allowed us to beat out a cash buyer earlier this week. It varies depending on the seller’s wants and needs, but it’s one more way to make a better offer in this competitive market.
